For 2021 we will reconvene, this time using a virtual format. This year’s theme is Leadership Within Your Life. Featuring Key Note Speakers, powerful discussions, and networking opportunities, the Virtual Summit includes insightful presentations by industry leaders on the topics of Professional Development, Personal Development, and more. Our core values at HBIC HQ are Ownership, Empowerment, and Altruism. We take pride in reflecting those values across all of our charitable programs, our certification program, our professional networking community, and our virtual events. The Key Note Speakers we select for our virtual events, including Virtual Summits and Annual Galas, reflect our values as they provide a voluntary service for our shared community. Speakers are chosen based on their professionalism as well as the content of their proposed presentation. Presentation content is screened for language, relevance, scope, and sited sources, among other criteria. HBICHQ Key Note Speakers are leaders in their field.
Pivoting to a virtual format for our summits and gatherings has been a necessary challenge and we are thrilled to now be able to reach more women. Creating a robust network of supportive peers is one of the key elements to personal and professional success; and we have found that a virtual platform eliminates limitations such as location, transportation, and other common fees associated with traveling to an event. As a result, our Virtual Summit is designed to make the most of this powerful method to create opportunities for connection, learning, and empowerment.
