Each year we publish an anthology filled with words of wisdom, laughter, tears, and hope. Regardless of our culture our background, our shared experiences as women in this world is what brings us together. Our annual anthology is a celebration of our shared experiences and collective stories, from women all over the world.

Submission Requirements

Submission Rules

1. All submissions must be in an editable text document, such as Word.
2. All submissions must be original work belonging to you with permissions for publication.
3. Submissions are subject to approval without guarantee of publication or in which form of publication.
4. Content Policy, Category Specifications. & Submission Rules must be adhered to.
5. Select Authors of stories published in our anthology will be invited to participate in events such as live readings, online-event award ceremonies, etc.

We are accepting the following Categories

Poetry
no more than 40 lines, formatted

Anecdotes
between 150-500 words

Short Stories
between 500-1000 words

Content Policy

None of the following content may be submitted. Zero Exceptions.
  • Any hate-speech or content that describes explicit harassment or violence. Submitted content can not describe explicit violence, bullying, harassment, or hate against individuals or groups based on ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Content cannot include slurs or derogatory epithets about protected groups. Content cannot be used to harass or bully individuals, including direct physical threats or exposure of private information that could be used to carry out implied threats.
  • Any explicit commonly triggering content. Submitted content can not explicitly describe any common triggers including, but not limited to, abuse, eating disorders, harm to self or others, or other common triggers. Content may allude to such where reasonable within a story of an uplifting and inspiring nature, but not as a focus and under no circumstances contain explicit details, language, slang, or otherwise.
  • Content that disparages a person, place, or thing, or that would likely make the reader or listener upset or angry. Submitted content should be of an uplifting, inspirational, or empowering nature.
  • Content that contains obscene, profane, or offensive language or gestures. Artistic liberty may be taken, depending on content, but must otherwise meet the guidelines of the content policy.
  • Content that promotes or encourages violence, or that graphically depicts injuries, abuse of humans or animals, or violent acts. Additionally, content that’s likely to shock or disgust is not permitted.
  • Sexually suggestive or sexually explicit content. Submitted content cannot include profanity, slang terms that are sexually graphic and offensive, terms that are common signals for pedophilia, content that promotes pedophilia, bestiality, sexual violence, or content that promotes escort services or other services that may be interpreted as providing sexual acts in exchange for compensation. Sexual health and wellness is permitted, however adult content is not permitted.
  • Terrorist content. We strictly prohibit content related to terrorism, such as content that promotes terrorist acts, incites violence, or celebrates terrorist attacks. If submitted content describes terrorism-related content for an educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic purpose, the content must provide enough information so readers understand the context, and under no circumstances may include explicit details, language, slang, or otherwise.
